UNC Asheville comes into the 2025 season armed with Big South Conference Preseason Pitcher of the Year Colby Guy, the first Bulldog in program history to earn the honor. Asheville was also picked seventh in the Big South Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll after posting a 22-28 record including a 10-14 mark in Big South Conference play.
Asheville returns 21 players from a season ago, adding six transfers and 12 freshmen.
Fairleigh Dickinson was picked in a tie for third with Central Connecticut in the Northeast Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll after going 26-30 a season ago including an 18-14 mark in Northeast Conference play.
Fairleigh Dickinson returns several impact players from a season ago in junior two-way player Jeremy Cheeseman and sophomore outfielder Joey DiMotta, as well as senior right-handed pitcher Chris Mattioli.
