Solomon recorded his second double-double of the season, leading all players with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Kameron Taylor narrowly missed a double-double of his own, finishing with 18 points and nine rebounds, while also matching his career high with five assists.
DJ Patrick added 15 points, knocking down three 3-pointers and pulling down six rebounds. Justin Wright rounded out Asheville's double-figure scorers with 12 points. Myles Mayfield contributed eight points and nine rebounds, just shy of a double-double. All nine Bulldogs who entered the game scored and recorded at least one rebound.
As a team, Asheville shot 56.1 percent from the field (32-of-57), connected on six 3-pointers—all in the first half—and went 13-of-21 (61.9 percent) from the free-throw line. The Bulldogs limited Kentucky Christian to 36.9 percent shooting from the field.
A strong first half set the tone for Asheville, as the Bulldogs took a 46-35 lead into the break. Patrick led Asheville with 13 points at halftime, while Mayfield, Taylor, Wright, and Solomon each scored six. Asheville built a first-half lead as large as 21 points following a Daniel Thomas dunk (40-19).

The Bulldogs extended their advantage to a game-high 22 points in the second half after a Mayfield layup made the score 68-46.
Kentucky Christian attempted a late comeback, trimming Asheville's lead from 20 to 12 with under eight minutes remaining after back-to-back 3-pointers and a layup. The Knights continued to chip away, cutting the deficit to seven with 3:49 to play. That would be as close as KCU would get, as Asheville responded with a Solomon layup at the 1:56 mark to regain a double-digit lead and hold a 10-point or greater advantage for the remainder of the contest.
The Bulldogs return to action on Thursday, Dec. 18, when they host Morris College in Kimmel Arena for Asheville's final non-conference home game of the season. All kids receive free admission to Thursday's game.
