As a team, the Bulldogs shot 50% from the field, 6-for-17 from 3-point range, 5-for-24 from the free throw line and scored 32 points in the paint.
Asheville led for the entire first half, extending its lead out to double-digits under the 12 minute mark following a floater from the paint by Wright (16-6). With under 11 minutes to go in the opening frame, Lipscomb went on an 11-2 run to cut Asheville's lead down to two (21-20). Asheville rebuilt its cushion late in the half, highlighted by a jumper from Wright and back-to-back dunks from Taylor and Solomon, to go ahead 27-20 with just over three minutes to play. The Bisons hit a 3-pointer before the break, trimming the deficit to 29-25 at halftime.
Wright opened the second half with a triple, but the Bisons began chipping away at Asheville's lead, tying the game at 38 with 13:07 remaining.

A dunk from Lipscomb with less than a minute later gave the Bisons their first lead of the night but Wright responded with a 3-pointer to tip the lead back to the Bulldogs (42-40). There would go on to be a total of 12 lead changes and six ties in the final minutes of the second half, with Asheville not allowing Lipscomb to lead by more than three points.
Down one with 1:51 to play, Wright converted a three-point play to put the Bulldogs back in front, then added two free throws with 13 seconds left to extend the lead to four. After a Lipscomb dunk closed the gap, Taylor sealed the win with three free throws in the final seconds as Asheville held on for a 69-64 victory.
The Bulldogs will be back in Kimmel Arena on Thursday, Nov. 13, as the Bulldogs host Bryan College at 6:30 p.m.
