Men's Soccer Hosts No. 7 High Point Saturday Night

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Men's Soccer hosts No. 7 High Point Saturday night (Oct. 4) at Greenwood Field. This will be Asheville's first time hosting a nationally-ranked team since beating No. 4 Coastal Carolina 3-2 back on Oct. 11, 2015.

The UNC Asheville men's soccer team beat out Radford 2-1 in their second Big South Conference match this past Saturday (Sept. 27). The Bulldogs outshot the Highlanders 13-7 with shots on goal from Rodrigo Mendes, Lennart Granzow, Dylan Kwasnik, and Benian Yao. Granzow and Kwasnik recorded the Bulldog's two goals of the match, assisted by Rinta Takagi and Aysa Hamid, respectively. The victory brought Asheville's Big South record to 1-1-0 and fourth in the conference standings.
