Patterson Earns Third Golfer of the Week Honor this Season

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - UNC Asheville's Caroline Patterson has been named the Big South Golfer of the Week after a strong performance at the UNCG Collegiate.
Patterson tied for fifth at the UNCG Collegiate (par 72, 6,011 yards) with a 4-over par 220 (73-71-76), marking her second consecutive Top 10 finish. She was the top performer among the 26 Big South golfers in the field and helped guide the Bulldogs to a runner-up team finish in the 11-team event.
This recognition marks Patterson's third Big South Golfer of the Week honor this season and the sixth of her career as a Bulldog.
Patterson and the Bulldogs are back in action Monday-Tuesday for their home tournament the French Broad Collegiate Invitational.
