Track and Field Heads to Virginia Tech for Weekend Invitational

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville track and field team is set to compete in the Virginia Tech Invitational this Friday and Saturday (Jan. 17-18). 

The meet will commence at 3:30 p.m. with the women's pole vault on Friday and close with the men's 4x400m relay on Saturday at 5 p.m.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

The track and field team started its indoor season at the Gamecock Opener last Saturday, Jan. 11. The event was highlighted by Nkosi Jeju, who set a new school record in the long jump with his distance of 7.34m. 

The Bulldogs had a total of 25 top-10 finishes, 11 top-five finishes, five podium finishes and seven earned spots on the All-Time Best List.
