Bulldogs Extend Win Streak to Seven with Victory over North Carolina Central

DURHAM, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Tennis extended its win streak to seven with a 5-2 victory at North Carolina Central on Monday (Mar. 4).
The Bulldogs took the doubles point with two wins in doubles play, before picking up four wins in singles play to secure the match.
Linge Steenkamp and Ari Siegel beat Jade Houston and Lafi Joao 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, before Angelina Joy Hug and Rosie Dickson defeated Candice Bernier and Patricia Palencia 6-4 at No. 2. Alexis Nyborg beat Houston in straight sets 6-4, 6-0, before Hug defeated Kennedy Hill 6-4, 6-4 at No. 4. Dickson beat Isabelle Exsted 6-1, 6-2 at No. 5, before Louise Booker beat Bernier 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 at No. 2 for Asheville's final victory.
