Women's Tennis Battles, Drops Sunday Contest to Wofford

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -Â UNC Asheville Women's Tennis battled, but dropped its Sunday (Mar. 10) contest to Wofford at the Reeves Tennis Center.
The Bulldogs took the doubles point for a 1-0 lead, before Wofford rallied to take the match in singles play.
Rosie Dickson and Angelina Joy Hug began doubles play with a 6-0 win over Catherine Blouin and Breda Brennan at No. 2, while Linge Steenkamp and Ari Siegel beat Grace Agster and Lily Woods 7-5 at No. 1. Alexis Nyborg tied the match at 3-3 with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-0 win over Woods at No. 3, before Wofford would take the match with another victory.
