It was a weekend of mixed emotions for the Bulldogs as they continued Big South Conference play as the Bulldogs went 1-1 after defeating Presbyterian in three sets and falling to Charleston Southern in five.

Against PC, Matilde Teixeira led the team with 12 kills and finished the night with a career-high .550 attack percentage, as she only made one error in 20 attempts. She recorded a double-double with 12 digs.

In Asheville's match against CSU, Payton Rolfsen had a career-high 42 assists.

ABOUT THE BULLDOGS

Kylie Cackovic leads the Bulldogs with 152 kills, closely followed by Matilde Teixeira with 125. Carrying the assists this season has been Payton Rolfsen, with an astounding 283 to her name.

Michelle Thao leads with 24 service aces and 211 digs, and was named Big South Co-Libero of the Week on Oct. 14 after recording a career-high of 36 digs against Radford. Thao is now No. 2 in program records for most digs in a four-set match.

Leading the Bulldogs this season in blocks is Albertine van der Goot, who has racked up 38 so far. She also has the highest block assists at 28.
