Louise Booker Named Big South Conference Women's Tennis Freshman of the Week

FULL BIG SOUTH CONFERENCE RELEASE
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - UNC Asheville freshman Louise Booker has been named the Big South Conference Women's Tennis Freshman of the Week, announced by the league today (Wednesday, Jan. 24).
Booker helped Asheville to a 6-1 win over UNC Greensboro on Sunday (Jan. 21) to start the season. She teamed up with Angelina Joy Hug for a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles, before winning 7-6, 6-4 at No. 2 singles.
This is Booker's first career Freshman of the Week honor. She is a native of Lowestoft, Suffolk, United Kingdom.
The Bulldogs (1-0) return to the courts on Saturday (Jan. 27) at Furman. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m. from the Mickell Tennis Center in Greenville, S.C. with video and live stats available at www.uncabulldogs.com.
