Women's Soccer Opens Big South Conference Play at USC Upstate on Saturday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Soccer opens Big South Conference play at USC Upstate on Saturday (Sept. 23), in the team's first installment in the Ingles I-26 Rivalry. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. from County University Soccer Stadium in Spartanburg, S.C.

About the Bulldogs - Asheville comes into conference play at 4-1-3 on the season after a 2-2 draw at Morehead State back on Sept. 14. Asheville ranks sixth in the Big South in scoring average at 1.125 goals per game, while also leading the league in opponent scoring average at 0.75 and ranking second in the conference in corner kicks with 38.
