Men's Tennis Heads to Campbell and Longwood This Weekend in Big South Conference Play

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville men's tennis travels to Campbell and Longwood this weekend in Big South Conference play. The match against Campbell is set for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday (Apr. 1) in Buies Creek, N.C., while the Longwood match is set for 2:00 p.m. on Sunday (Apr. 2) from Farmville, Va.
About the Bulldogs - The Bulldogs come into the weekend winners of two straight after a 7-0 shutout over UNC Greensboro, with an overall record of 7-7. The Bulldogs have posted a 21-11 combined doubles record on the season, along with a combined 44-37 singles record. Jon Brann Reid and Rafa Serra lead the way with six doubles wins, while Harry Thursfield and Sam Nicholson have five wins and Thursfield and Bruno Serra have four wins. Chester Wickwire and Nicholson have three wins in doubles play, while Bruno Serra and Wickwire have two wins. Thursfield and Reid also have one win in doubles play. Thursfield leads the way in singles play with 10 wins, while Nicholson has eight wins and Reid has seven.
