Baseball Returns Home to Host Presbyterian

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville baseball team will return to action this weekend with a three-game home series vs. Presbyterian. The series, which will run Friday through Sunday at Greenwood Field, has game times set for 5 p.m. on Friday, 3 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Promotions – Thanks to the partnership with Ingles, admission to all three games this weekend will be free. Furthermore, alcohol will be available for purchase on Friday and Saturday. Following Sunday's game, there will be an Easter egg hunt.

In 2022, the Bulldogs finished the season hitting a collective .252. Asheville also has four players batting .350 or higher in Robbie Burnett (.372), Kohl Abrams (.369), Dylan Bacot (.364), and Corbin Lanowitz (.354).

Burnett already has 15 extra base hits this season with six doubles, three triples and six home runs. In comparison, Burnett totaled 16 extra base hits during his freshman season in 2022.
About Presbyterian – Presbyterian will make the trip to Asheville sporting an 11-15 overall record that includes a 4-2 mark in Big South play. PC has started league play by taking two of three games in series against High Point and Charleston Southern.
Series Rewind vs. Presbyterian – The all-time series between the Bulldogs and Blue Hose consists of over 40 meetings. PC holds the edge winning 29 of the 47 all-time matchups. Asheville, however, has won the last three games between these two programs that were played at Greenwood Field.
