Men's Tennis Gets Back on Track with 6-1 Win over North Carolina Central

DURHAM, N.C. - UNC Asheville Men's Tennis got back on track on Saturday (Mar. 25) with a 6-1 win over North Carolina Central.
The Bulldogs won the doubles point with two victories in doubles play, before winning five out of six singles matches for the victory.
Harry Thursfield and Bruno Serra beat Naresh Bharathy and Facundo Olmedo 6-0 at No. 2 doubles, before Jon Brann Reid Rafa Serra defeated Sabastian Pino and Oliver Saarinen 6-3 at No. 1 to clinch the doubles point.
Sam Nicholson got things started in singles play with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Pino at No. 1, before Chester Wickwire beat Bharathy 6-1, 6-3 at No. 4. Thursfield beat Saarinen 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2, before Bruno Serra beat Kareem Abdul Hakim 6-0, 6-4 at No. 3. Rafa Serra would pick up Asheville's final win of the day over Shaka Cristellotti 6-4, 6-4 at No. 5.
