Additionally, Ty Kaufman (1st – 28 runs scored), Robbie Burnett (2nd – 24 runs scored), Kohl Abrams (7th – 22 runs scored), and Dylan Bacot (9th – 21 runs scored) all rank among the top 10 players in the Big South in runs scored.

Pitching Pride – The Bulldogs enter this weekend's series with Longwood tied for second in the Big South with 101 runs allowed with nationally ranked Campbell. The only Big South team to allow fewer runs than the Bulldogs this season is Gardner-Webb (74 runs allowed).

Great Success at Greenwood Field – Tuesday's win over ETSU boosted Asheville's record to 10-1 at home in 2023. Since the start of the 2021 season, the Bulldogs have dropped just two series at home (Last Season vs. Gardner-Webb and in 2021 vs. USC Upstate).

About Longwood – Longwood will come to Asheville this weekend with a 7-16 record. This will be Longwood's first Big South series in 2023. A player to watch for the Lancers is Sunday's probable starter Andrew Potojecki. In five starts this season, Potojecki has an ERA of 1.88, which leads all Big South pitchers.

Series Rewind vs. Longwood – Asheville and Longwood have met a total of 24 times over the years. The Lancers hold the edge in the all-time series, 24-20. Home field advantage has played a key role in which team sees success in this series. In games played in Asheville, the Bulldogs are 8-4 against Longwood. On the flip side, Asheville is 2-10 against the Lancers at their home ballpark in Farmville.
