Bulldogs Extend Winning Streak to 13 with 7-0 Sweep of Milligan

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women's tennis team extended its winning streak to 13 straight after a 7-0 sweep of Milligan on Wednesday (Mar. 22).
The Bulldogs captured the doubles point with two wins, before sweeping singles play to preserve the shutout.
Valeria Centeno and Elizabeth Tindera beat Kyle Enarson and Macy Kennedy 6-0 at No. 2 doubles, before Beatrice Faureng and Avery Sager beat Tiana Shelton and Sophie Dunman 6-1 at No. 3 doubles to win the doubles point. Ami Grace Dougah blanked Kaitlin Barrett 6-0, 6-0, before Linge Steenkamp chalked up a shutout over Dunman 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Tindera defeated Carmyn Rossa 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3, before Sager beat Enarson 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4. Faureng beat Kennedy 8-2 at No. 5, before Ari Siegel beat Heather Graf 8-1 at No. 6 singles.
