Home Sweet Home – Asheville has been a very tough team to beat at home over the last two seasons. When the Bulldogs have served as the home team, the Bulldogs are 18-13 since the beginning of the 2021 season. Among these 18 victories are six series wins over Big South competition (last being a three-game sweep vs. Charleston Southern two weeks ago).

Among the Nation's Best at Turning Two –With six double plays turned last weekend at Presbyterian, the Bulldogs have now turned two 28 times so far in 2022. The 28 double plays are tied for 11th in Division I baseball entering this weekend, while the average of 1.04 double plays turned per game ranks seventh nationally.

Freeberger finds ways to get on base – Senior utility man Dominic Freeberger continues to provide value for the Bulldogs in the field and at the plate. Freeberger brings a 24-game on-base streak into this weekend's series with North Carolina A&T and a seven-game hitting streak as well. The Baltimore, Maryland native is the Big South's leading hitter as well, boasting a .390 batting average.

About North Carolina A&T – The Aggies will bring a 10-17 overall record with it to Asheville this weekend. A&T is still searching for its first Big South win as it currently sits at 0-6. A player to watch for the Aggies this weekend is Cort Maynard, who ranks second in the Big South with seven home runs this spring.
