ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women's basketball team welcomes Chattanooga for a non-conference matinee on Wednesday (Nov. 23).
About the Bulldogs - The Bulldogs come into the matchup at 2-1 after a 68-57 win over Queens (N.C.) Friday night. The Bulldogs rank fifth in the Big South in scoring offense at 62.3 points per game and second in scoring defense averaging 56.0 points per game. Mallory Bruce leads the team in scoring at 11.0 points per game, while McKinley Brooks-Sumpter is second on the team at 9.7 points per game. Brooks-Sumpter leads the team and is tied for fifth in the Big South Conference in rebounding at 8.0 rebounds per game, while Bruce is second on the team at 6.7 rebounds per game.
