ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville women's basketball heads to Florida for a non-conference matinee on Sunday (Nov. 13).
About the Bulldogs - UNC Asheville comes into the matchup at 1-0 after a 79-25 win over Converse back on Monday (Nov. 7). Four Bulldogs scored in double figures, while defensively the Bulldogs held Converse to single-digit scoring in each quarter in the game. Dakota McCaughan ranks fourth in the Big South in three-point shooting after her 4-7 effort off the bench against Converse. Mallory Bruce is tied for third in the league in rebounding after a 10-point, 10-board season opener. McCaughan is also tied for ninth in the league in scoring (14.0 PPG).
