Women’s Tennis wraps up day two of Wofford Invite

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The UNC Asheville women's tennis team capped off day two of the Wofford Invite on Saturday.
The day started off with doubles play, picking up from the rain-shortened Friday. Rosie Dickson and Ami Grace Dougah looked dominant again, winning their second doubles match 6-1. For the second consecutive day, Linge Steenkamp and Ari Siegel edged out their opponents in doubles action, this time by a score of 7-6.
Lize Alet Morkel battled in singles action defeating Radford's Salma Loudili 2-6, 7-5 with a 10-5 tiebreak. In her next match, topping Wofford's Lily Woods via a 10-6 tiebreak. In the Terrier draw, Dougah topped her first opponent 7-5, 6-4 before winning 7-5, 6-0 to advance to Sunday's finals. Like Dougah, Dickson was victorious 6-2, 6-1 in her first singles match, winning her second of the day 6-4, 6-1.
The final day of the Wofford Invite will begin Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m.
