UNC Asheville Hosting Basketball Bubble Webinar

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The 2020-21 college basketball season will be more unique than any other in history. One idea currently being discussed is the possibility of having college basketball bubbles similar to the NBA and NHL.
UNC Asheville Director of Athletics Janet R. Cone will host a webinar with special guests Atlantic 10 Commissioner Bernadette McGlade, Big South Commissioner Kyle Kallander, UNC Asheville Head Men's Basketball Coach Mike Morrell, and UNC Asheville Head Women's Basketball Coach Honey Brown. They will discuss the feasibility of playing college basketball in a bubble from both a coaching and administrative perspective, while looking ahead to the 2020-21 season.
