Bulldogs to Host Radford in Final Regular Season Home Game

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville women's basketball will host the Radford Highlanders in a 6 p.m. matchup, Wednesday, March 4, inside Kimmel Arena for the Bulldogs' final regular season home game of the 2019-20 season.
The Bulldogs are currently sixth in the Big South Conference standings with a 9-9 record. UNC Asheville has won three of their last five games dating back to Feb. 11. They defeated Presbyterian on the road and have since taken down Winthrop and USC Upstate inside Kimmel Arena.
Since conference play began on Dec. 28, two Bulldogs have averaged a double-digit point total as Nadiria Evans has scored 14.4 points per game in conference play while redshirt senior Sonora Dengokl is currently averaging 12.6 points per game through the first 12 Big South games of the season. Brooke Jordan-Brown is leading the Big South Conference with 12.3 rebounds a game since conference play began.
The Highlanders are currently vying for sole possession of the second spot in the Big South Conference standings with a 13-5 record as Radford is currently tied with Hampton for the number two spot behind Campbell. The Bulldogs have already defeated Radford once this season as UNC Asheville took down the Highlanders 63-50 inside the Dedmon Center on January 11th.
