Bulldogs Set for Weekend Trek through Tennessee

NASHVILLE – UNC Asheville's men's tennis team is set for a three-match swing through the state of Tennessee this weekend, beginning with a 6 p.m., Friday, matchup at Lipscomb.
The Bulldogs (2-1) are coming off a 5-2 victory against James Madison, Sunday, in their home opener. Charlie Morkel earned Big South Player of the Week honors for his performance against JMU, while Harry Thursfield was named Freshman of the Week.
The Dogs will remain in Nashville after facing off against Lipscomb to take on Belmont in a 2 p.m., Saturday, showdown. They will close out the road swing when with a 1 p.m. matchup, Sunday, at Chattanooga.
Results of each match will be available at UNCABulldogs.com after the conclusion of each contest.
After three matches in three days, the Bulldogs will have two weeks before they take to the courts again, with road matches scheduled at Appalachian State, February 22, and Furman, February 23.
