Notably
- The last time the Bulldogs played inside the G.B. Hodge Center on Jan. 15, 2019, UNC Asheville escaped with a 93-86 victory in an overtime thriller. Sonora Dengokl had a career-night as she tallied 36 points and shot 18-for-22 from the field. The 18 made field goals broke a UNC Asheville Division I record and a Big South record in league-only games. That mark also matched a UNC Asheville and Big South overall record for field goals made in a single game. Her 81.8 field-goal percentage was the best in an NCAA Division I contest since Dec. 4, 2012 (minimum 22 attempts). Also, her 36 total points fell three shy of matching a UNC Asheville Division I record and was the most scored by a Big South player since Jan. 10, 2015. Dengokl's 36 points, 18 made field goals and five assists set single-game bests for the Sumter, S.C. native.
- Senior center Brooke Jordan-Brown corralled a career-high 23 rebounds in UNC Asheville's conference opening win against Presbyterian. Her 23 rebounds are only five short of the UNC Asheville DI record and ties the Big South record for rebounds in a league game. Jordan-Brown leads the Big South with 106 rebounds through the first 12 games this season.
- Nadiria Evans has now scored 20+ points in a single game twice this season. Evans is the only Bulldog to reach the 20 point plateau this season.
- UNC Asheville currently ranks 16th in the nation in offensive rebounds per game and 18th in rebounding margin. UNC Asheville is also 35th in total rebounds per game. The Bulldogs sit atop the Big South in all three categories. The Bulldogs have not been outrebounded by their opponent in a single game this season.
- UNC Asheville has been the best in the Big South to this point in the season at limiting three pointers. The Bulldogs aren't just making noise in the Big South with their ability to limit the three as they are 25th in the nation in 3pt FG defense.
- UNC Asheville is 18th in the nation in fewest points allowed and is currently second in the Big South in the category. UNC Asheville has allowed 60 points or less in eight of their 12 games this season.
