Bulldogs Fall to Campbell

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – UNC Asheville's women's soccer team fell to Campbell, 2-0, Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs took 12 shots in the match. Skyler Chillson, Chloe Lamenzo and Maya Gutman all took two shots, while Gillian Oyos took four shots. Oyos and Lamenzo both had shots on goal that were saved by the Camel goalkeeper.
Bryson Lee made her fifth start of the year at goalkeeper and secured six saves in the loss Saturday.
Campbell scored their first goal in minute 30 but the Bulldogs held them there as they took the 1-0 deficit into the half. The Camels found the back of the net once again in minute 66 that gave them the 2-0 advantage over the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs will take the field again at 6 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, when they host USC Upstate at Greenwood Field.
