FROM HEAD COACH FREDERICO SANTOS
"Our team was awesome today! We came out determined and focused, and made it very difficult for our opponent to play. I'm proud of how we overcame a deficit in the third set and finished strong. I am so happy for the team because today they showed that they are fighters, and this is the spirit we need to keep moving forward. Personally, I want to say a big thank you for all of those who are always supporting us: the coaches at UNC Asheville, our awesome administration and our wonderful BAA. Your actions, encouragement and words always empower us to do our best in competition."
