ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville women's basketball will close out its three game homestand, Sunday, December 8, with a 2 p.m. matchup with South Carolina State.
The Bulldogs have begun their 2019-20 season with an impressive 4-1 record through their first five nonconference games. UNC Asheville won their season-opener versus Lenoir-Rhyne inside Kimmel Arena before facing off with Southern Conference opponents, Western Carolina, ETSU and UNC Greensboro. Â
The Bulldogs have won both of their road games this season after defeating Western Carolina inside the Ramsey Center and downing ETSU on the heels of Nadiria Evans career-high 24 point performance for the Bulldogs' first ever win on ETSU's home court.
UNC Asheville's only loss came at the hands of UNC Greensboro on Black Friday but the Bulldogs bounced back with a 44 point victory earlier this week against Montreat inside Kimmel Arena.

Evans leads the Bulldogs with 13.4 points per game while Sonora Dengokl is averaging 11.6 points per game.
