Tim White, Head Athletic Trainer
(Women's Volleyball, Cross Country, Track & Field, Golf)
Tim White is in his thirdyear with Mission Sports Medicine as Head Athletic Trainer and in his 11th year serving UNC Asheville. He is the primary athletic trainer for the volleyball, Cross Country,Track & Field and golf programs.Â
Prior to his arrival in Asheville, Tim spent four years at UNC Pembroke, serving as the head athletic trainer in his final year. He provided coverage for UNCP men's soccer and wrestling programs, and later served as the athletic trainer for UNCP's new football program.
Additionally, Tim served as an assistant athletic trainer at Si Tanka University in South Dakota, later serving as the head athletic trainer for the football and men's basketball teams. In addition to caring for athletes, he served as an associate professor, as a clinic coordinator and as a member of the scholarship committee.
Tim and his wife, Amanda, have two sons, Levi and Ian.

Eric Lahue, PT
Physical Therapist

Eric Lahue, PT, is a board-certified clinical specialist in sports rehabilitation and orthopedics who has been a physical therapist with Mission Health since 2008. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and is a certified provider of functional dry needling.
Originally from upstate New York, Eric received his master's degree in physical therapy from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He is passionate about helping individuals of all backgrounds and sports return to competition at their maximum potential.
In his free time, Eric likes to stay active, and he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding and traveling.

Michael Hodges
Regional Supervisor
Michael Hodges joined the Mission Sports Medicine team in 2011. He spent five years with T.C. Roberson High School before he accepted a position within the department as regional supervisor.
Michael has a wealth of diverse experience, and prior to joining Mission Sports Medicine, he spent 15 years at Mars Hill College as an instructor in the Mars Hill accredited Athletic Training Educational Program (ATEP). During his tenure, Michael was the primary athletic trainer for men's lacrosse, and he spent six years with the women's soccer team, 12 years with the men's basketball team and one year as the head athletic trainer of the football team.Â
Michael earned his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Mars Hill College and his master's degree in education from Western Carolina University. As a graduate assistant, Michael worked with the student athletes at Mars Hill College while also teaching health and athletic training classes at T.C. Roberson High School.
Michael lives in his hometown of Hendersonville. An avid biker, he is a member of the Mission Health Tour de Cure cycling team and likes to mountain bike. He also enjoys hiking, backpacking, playing golf, sitting outside at one of Asheville's many cafés or diners and spending time in downtown Asheville.
