Match Challenge in Place for Our Turn to Play Fundraising Event

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville Athletics Department is less than a month away from hosting its annual Our Turn to Play fundraising dinner, set for Tuesday, April 28 at 6 p.m. in Kimmel Arena.
This year's event will feature keynote speaker Katie Meier, former Miami Hurricanes women's basketball head coach, Co-National Coach of the Year, and Duke Athletics Hall of Fame inductee.
First Bank serves as the presenting sponsor, with additional support from Harry's on the Hill. The evening will celebrate and recognize UNC Asheville's female student-athletes and leaders while supporting the continued growth of women's athletics through scholarship funding.
A $200,000 fundraising challenge match has been established to help increase support for women's athletic scholarships. Contributions made as part of the event will go toward unlocking this match and maximizing impact.
The event includes table sponsorships ($1,500) and individual tickets ($150). Table sponsorships include seating for seven guests plus one UNC Asheville student-athlete, along with public recognition.
