Bulldogs to Play in Numerous Finals on Sunday at USCU Spartan Women’s Challenge

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The UNC Asheville women's tennis team put together another solid day on Saturday at the USCU Spartan Women's Challenge.

UNC Asheville's Taylor Love and Kylee Shipley will play for third place on Sunday at the event against Georgia Southern's Emilia Bujan and Charlotte Van Diemen.

The Bulldog pairing of Christin Louw and Emily Sidor will take on Daniela Naupari and Milica Panic in the doubles consolation final on Sunday at 10 a.m.

In the "green" singles portion of the event, UNC Asheville's Anastasia Horvat bested USC Upstate's Elin Hellberg 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the consolation finals at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Love will play for the championship in the "green" singles section after a 4-6, 6-2, 10-8 win over Valentine Limauge of Gardner-Webb. She will battle Miyumi Saguchi of Gardner-Webb in the finals.
