About UNC Asheville
The Bulldogs enter Friday's game with a 1-3-1 overall mark and a 1-1 record at Greenwood Field.
Asheville opened its home schedule last weekend, where it fell, 1-0, to Delaware State before claiming a 3-2 victory over The Citadel on Sunday.
In the 3-2 victory, UNC Asheville had three goal scorers – Skyler Chillson, Gillian Oyos and Emily Duenas. All three goals were the first of the season for the three Bulldogs. Oyos' and Duenas' goals were also the first of their Bulldog career. Duenas also ended the game earning an assist on Oyos' goal in the 44th minute.
The one-goal win versus The Citadel also gave first-year head coach Lindsay Vera her first career victory.
Overall, the Bulldog offense is led by Oyos and Duenas, as both Bulldogs have a goal and an assist this season. Justine James and Chillson also each have one goal.
In net, sophomore Bryson Lee has the team's lone win, as she played 90 minutes versus The Citadel. Bronwyn Luitwieler has started two games, as she has corralled eight saves on 30 shots faced. Courtney O'Malley is the final Bulldog to see action between the posts, as she earned a tie in Asheville's season-opening contest at Wofford.

In those four games, they have out-scored their opponents, 12-1, including back-to-back games of scoring four or more goals (versus South Carolina State and versus Delaware State). Also, VMI is currently on a two-game stretch of not allowing a goal.
