ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville women's tennis opens its final week of the regular season by playing host to league foe Presbyterian College at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown.

About the Bulldogs

UNC Asheville welcomes the Blue Hose owning a 9-8 overall record on the 2018 season. The Bulldogs are 2-4 in Big South Conference play. Kylee Shipley and Emily Sidor both lead the Bulldogs with 10 singles wins each.

Near the Top of the League
UNC Asheville's No. 1 doubles duo of Hannah Francisco and Kylee Shipley have the second-best winning percentage in the league at .765 (13-4).

Strong at Home
UNC Asheville welcomes Presbyterian College owning an overall home record of 9-2.

About Presbyterian College
The Blue Hose make their way to the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown owning a 1-4 mark in league play. Presbyterian College is 7-8 overall. Playing mainly at No. 4 singles, Beth Taylor leads the Blue Hose with a 12-3 singles record. She is 8-0 at No. 4 singles.

UNC Asheville will next close out its regular season at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 8, by playing host to Campbell. The match is part of a men's and women's tennis doubleheader at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown with the Bulldog men battling Campbell at 10 a.m. The women's tennis match will also serve as Senior Day for Amalie Davidsen.
