Two Chances to Catch Bulldogs This Weekend at Asheville Racquet Club Downtown

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's tennis team will host two matches this upcoming weekend at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown.
The Bulldogs will first welcome Wofford at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 9. UNC Asheville will then face off against Emmanuel at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 10.
BULLDOG BITES
About the Bulldogs
UNC Asheville opens the match against Wofford on Friday owning a 5-4 record overall on the 2018 spring season. Emily Sidor has won six straight singles matches for the Bulldogs. She is 4-0 at No. 2 singles.
About Wofford
Wofford travels to UNC Asheville with a record of 8-2 on the season. The Terriers are led by Jenna Vroman, who is 9-1 on the year at No. 2 singles. Cassidy Hicks is 7-3 at No. 1 singles.
Solid No. 1 Doubles Meeting
The No. 1 doubles match on Friday should be fantastic tennis. UNC Asheville's No. 1 doubles tandem of Hannah Francisco and Kylee Shipley are currently 7-2 on the season and Wofford's No. 1 tandem of Jenna Vroman and Cassidy Hicks is 9-1.
About Emmanuel
Located in Franklin Springs, Ga., Emmanuel College travels to UNC Asheville owning an overall record of 5-4 on the 2018 spring season.
