UNC Asheville Women’s Tennis Posts 7-0 Home Win Over Augusta

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville women's tennis picked up a 7-0 shutout win over Augusta University on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown.
The match commenced with UNC Asheville (5-3) easily capturing the doubles point with a sweep of all three doubles flights. The tandem of Kylee Shipley and Hannah Francisco picked up the biggest win in doubles with a 6-0 blanking of Eva Miralles-Miro and Maria Alice Vieira at No. 1 doubles.
UNC Asheville won all six of the singles flights in straight sets to easily collect the 7-0 win over Augusta (6-4).
