Bulldogs Host Two Matches This Weekend at Asheville Racquet Club Downtown

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville women's tennis continues its homestand by playing host to two matches this upcoming weekend at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown.
The Bulldogs (3-2) will first host North Carolina Central at 2 p.m. on Feb. 24 before ending the weekend by playing host to UNCG at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25.

Last Time Out
The UNC Asheville women's tennis team remained perfect at home in the 2018 spring season with a 6-1 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018.
UNC Asheville opened the match by taking the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. UNC Asheville picked up the win in five of the six singles flights.
Still Perfect at Home
UNC Asheville is 3-0 on the spring season at home with wins over Mars Hill, USC Upstate and Lenoir-Rhyne.
UNC Asheville's Opponents This Weekend
North Carolina Central makes its way to Asheville owning an 0-4 record on the season. After opening the year with two consecutive losses, UNCG is now 2-2 on the season with back-to-back wins over UNCW and Gardner-Webb.

After its two matches this upcoming weekend, UNC Asheville women's tennis will next play host to Augusta at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 28.
