Women’s Tennis Posts Solid Saturday at Wofford Invite

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – It was a solid Saturday for the UNC Asheville women's tennis team at the Wofford Invite at the Reeves Tennis Center.
In the Gray doubles section of the event, the UNC Asheville duo of Emily Sidor and Christin Louw bested Western Carolina's Caitlin Ward and Julia Pezzuco 6-3.
In the SoCon singles portion of the event, Sidor dropped her first match but rebounded to collect a 2-6, 7-5, 10-5 win over Alexa Webb of Western Carolina.
In the Gray singles section, UNC Asheville's Louw lost her first match but picked up a 6-3, 4-6, 10-6 win over Kayla McKnight of West Virginia State.
In the Terrier singles section, UNC Asheville's Anastasia Horvat dropped her first match but collected a 7-6 (4), 6-1 win over Chantae Malo of West Virginia State.
