ASHEVILLE, N.C. — The UNC Asheville women's tennis team will travel to Greensboro, N.C., to face the UNCG Spartans this Saturday, Feb. 4, at the Piedmont Indoor Tennis Center beginning at 1 p.m. The Bulldogs will then have a quick turnaround when they return home to host the Davidson Wildcats on Sunday, Feb. 5, at the Asheville Racquet Club beginning at 2 p.m.

BULLDOG BITES
QUITE THE PAIR: The No. 1 pairing of sophomores Hannah Francisco and Kylee Shipley have had a stellar start to the season. The pair is now 3-1 on the year after falling to Appalachian State's top pairing last time out. Francisco and Shipley are also 3-1 in singles play at the No. 1 and 2 positions, respectively.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Lauren Watson-Steele, was named the Big South Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week earlier this year for her standout performance to open the season. The freshman from Cambridgeshire, England, is undefeated in singles play and is also 3-1 in doubles.

UP NEXT:  Following play on Sunday, the Bulldogs will continue their homestand, hosting mountain rival Western Carolina on Sunday, Feb.12, beginning at 3 p.m.
