Quotable
"Compliments to Mars Hill. I thought they were very well coached and disciplined. We needed to do a better job defending in the half-court."
"Overall, we are pleased with this showing as it certainly showed bright spots and many things we need to work on. It is a process, and it is always long and rewarding each year."
"Game one is behind us and now we will continue to get better. The crowd and atmosphere was outstanding tonight. I could certainly feel that the city of Asheville was excited about basketball season beginning."
