ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's soccer team looks to rebound at home on Wednesday night as the Bulldogs will entertain Presbyterian at Greenwood Field with kickoff set for 7 p.m.

The Bulldogs enter the mid-week matchup with a 4-6-1 overall record and a 0-2 mark in the Big South.

Head coach Michelle Demko enters the game one win away from her 50th career victory.

In the last four games, the Bulldogs have scored four goals from three different players: Courtney Naber, Emma Houser and Skyler Chillson. Naber netted a pair of goals in the previous match, which are the only two goals the Bulldogs have tallied in league play this year.

With her pair of goals versus the Fighting Camels, Naber is tied for third in the league in total goals (6) and goals per game (0.55). The midfielder is still second in the Big South in shots (38) and shots per game (3.45) and tied for fifth in total points (12).

As a team, UNC Asheville is fourth in many categories in the Big South including shots (156), points (34), goals (13), goals per game (1.18), assists (8) and assists per game (0.73). However, the Bulldogs are tied for second in the league in total corners with 51.

In the NCAA, the Bulldogs are fourth in the nation in fewest fouls per game with 5.55. Naber is tied for 65th in shots per game, tied for 67th in total goals and tied for 77th in goals per game.

Scouting Presbyterian

The Blue Hose enter the matchup with a 2-8 overall record and a 0-3 mark in league play.

Presbyterian is on an eight-game losing streak where it has been out-scored 23-5 in that stretch. The Blue House have played Campbell, Charleston Southern and Longwood in Big South Conference play.

Kelsey Yeager leads the squad as she is tied for the team lead in goals (2) and assists (2), while she is the sole leader on the team in points (6). She has taken 10 shots this year and has put four on frame. Jessica Powell, who has one goal this year, leads the team in total shots with 17, and Frances Whitesides leads the squad with seven shots on goal.

Alyssa Leaman has started and played in seven games in goal for Presbyterian. She has totaled 480:57 minutes between the posts where she has allowed 13 goals and corralled 34 saves. She sports a .723 save percentage and one shutout this year.
