Bulldogs Pick Up Numerous Wins on Day One of Wofford Invite

**Behind-the-scenes insight from day one of the Wofford Invite by senior Amalie Davidsen**
Coach has allowed us to play two explicit "rap" songs on every trip we go on. Tonight though, coming back from South Carolina, I have to admit that this rule got violated.
Â
It was a long day today because we each played two rounds of singles as well as one round of doubles. Due to high chances of rain Saturday, our team was split into playing at two sites, Wofford and USC Upstate, which was interesting.
Â
Emily Sidor won her first match. Kylee Shipley won her second match as well did Christin Louw.
Â
Hannah Francisco played well today and beat a strong Western Carolina girl in two solid sets.
Â
Despite being sick, Madeline Finley found renewed energy and won her first match.
Â
Anastasia Horvat continued her extremely impressive winning streak by winning both of her matches. Despite loosing the first set in her second match, she fought back to win the last match of the day, 6-7, 6-1, 10-0 against a solid player from Wofford.
Â
Tomorrow Anastasia's family is coming to watch as they are joining a group of parents who are our biggest supporter and always bring love. Today both Kylee's mother and Emily's parents were showing their great support (even though it seems like the girls are more exited about the family dogs, we really appreciate the parents support) – and I would like to make a special shout out to Kylee's mom, Denee, for always making sure we are not hungry or low on snacks.
Â
Good night. Tomorrow is going to be a heck of a day!
