Bulldogs Hang On for 4-3 Win Over Campbell

ASHEVILLE– The UNC Asheville Men's Tennis team outlasted Campbell University for a 4-3 victory to give them their third conference win this season.
NOTABLES
-Asheville put on a dominating performance in doubles play. The Bulldogs were led by the pair of Henry Patten and Josh Swindler who picked up a 6-2 win on court two to give Asheville the advantage. The Bulldogs continued to roll with the duo of Alex Croker and Brett Landau delivering a 6-3 win on court one to decide the point.
-The Bulldogs picked up the pace with a (6-2, 6-4) singles win on court two from Henry Patten to give Asheville a 2-0 lead.
-Campbell came back with two singles wins of their own on courts four and six to tie the score with three singles matches completed.
-The Camels collected a win on court one to take a short 3-2 lead before a (7-5, 6-4) win from Thomas Orestis-Panoulas on court three tied the score for the second time.
-The final match to finish took place in flight five. Asheville's Landau lost the first set 6-4, before answering with a 6-3 win to send the match to three sets. Landau took the final set 7-6 to clinch the match for the Bulldogs.
