ASHEVILLE – The UNC Asheville Men's Tennis suffered a loss on the road to the Number 61 ranked Gamecocks of the University of South Carolina.
NOTABLES
- The Gamecocks won three straight doubles sets to collect the doubles point and start the match 1-0. The pair of Alex Croker and Olly Cull battled for a close 7-6 loss on court one.
- The Bulldogs struggled to gain momentum with South Carolina collecting singles win on courts one (6-3, 6-1) and two (6-3, 6-2).
- Freshman, Henry Patten battled for a Bulldog win on court three, but fell to South Carolina's Alex Fennell in three sets (2-6, 6-1, 6-2). Asheville surrendered the remaining three singles points for a Gamecock sweep.
