ASHEVILLE – The UNC Asheville women's tennis team hosts Wofford College at the Asheville Racquet Club on Saturday, March 27 at 3:00 p.m.
NOTABLES
Head-to-Head: The last time these two teams met was in March of the 2014-15 season. The Bulldogs suffered at 5-2 setback on the road in Spartanburg. Asheville started the match 1-0 by taking the doubles point. The Terriers responded by taking five singles matches to secure the match.
Last Time Out: Asheville is coming off of a 5-1 loss on the road to the University of Alabama on Sunday, February 21. The Bulldogs were able to collect a singles win from Kylee Shipley on court four, but were unable to hold off the Blazers on the road.
Home Court Advantage: The Bulldogs are a perfect 3-0 on their home court so far this season. Asheville started the season with a 6-1 win at home over Mars Hill followed by a 7-0 win over Lenoir-Rhyne. The Bulldogs have also collected their first conference win at home over Longwood University 7-0.
