Men's Hoops Travels to Face Former Conference Foe Coastal Carolina this Saturday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Bulldogs' men's basketball team will try to string a pair of wins together when they travel to Conway, S.C. to face off with former conference foe, Coastal Carolina, this Saturday, December 3 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the HTC Center.
BULLDOG BITES
LAST TIME OUT: Balanced scoring and points in the paint helped lift the UNC Asheville men's basketball team to a 68-50 victory over Brevard this Tuesday night at Kimmel Arena. The Bulldogs outscored Brevard 39 to 24 in points in the paint.
DOUBLE DIGITS: Junior guard, Ahmad Thomas, has tallied double digits in scoring in all seven games this season. Thomas leads the squad with an average of 16.1 points per game.
AWAY FROM HOME: Asheville's 2-3 road record can be misleading. The two victories coming over USC Upstate and Furman, while the three losses came to power conference teams such as Georgia, VCU, and most recently No. 4 ranked Kansas.
SCOUTING COASTAL: Coastal Carolina enters the matchup coming off an 88-59 triumph over Methodist. Like the Bulldogs, Coastal has faced some tome competition early in teams such as UT Chattanooga, Wake Forest, BYU, and Alabama. Elijah Wilson leads the way in scoring for the Chanticleers averaging 16.7 points per game.
UP NEXT: Following play in Conway, the Bulldogs will travel to Burlington, N.C. to face off with Elon on Tuesday, December 6 at 7:00 p.m.
