Men's Hoops Signs Two Players Last Week

ASHEVILLE, N.C.—The UNC Asheville men's basketball team had two players sign national letter of intents last week. Both players are 6'5 guards from the state of North Carolina.
Connor Crabtree, a 6'5 guard from Hillsborough, N.C. attends Orange High School. In his junior year he averaged 23 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. Crabtree is both an All-Conference and All-District player. Over the summer, he played with the Wake County Basketball Association. Connor is ranked as the 13th best player in North Carolina by Phenom Hoop Report.
The second signee, Jalen Seegars, is also a 6'5 guard from Greensboro, N.C. As a sophomore at High Point Christian, he averaged 17 points and 8 rebounds per game. As a junior he averaged 8 points and 5 rebounds per game. His team finished 2nd in the state. He was named First Team All-Area. Over the summer, he played on the Nike Circuit with the CP3 All-Stars. Seegars is ranked as the 10th best player in North Carolina by Phenom Hoop Report.
