QUOTABLES FROM HEAD COACH TOM HAND
On the match- “It's always tough to lose such a close one. We played some really good doubles to get ourselves in front, but couldn't quite close it out in the singles. It was a harsh introduction for our freshmen, but it was also a great learning experience for them. I'm sure they will take everything on board quickly and be ready for another battle against App State tomorrow.”
UP NEXT
Following today's match, the Bulldogs will be back in action tomorrow, January 31 at Appalachian State University for a non-conference match with a the Mountaineers starting at 12:00p.m.
