Volleyball Drops Tight Matchup on Saturday Afternoon

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The UNC Asheville volleyball team dropped its second close match of the day, falling in three sets to North Florida to wrap up the Bulldogs' stay at The Citadel Invitational.
THE TURNING POINT
As was the case this morning against Wright State, the Bulldogs saw their opponent close out the end of each set. The first and third sets were decided by two points and the second set was a four-point win for North Florida.
NOTABLES
-Cara Guthrie finished with a double-double in the loss, as the freshman notched 11 kills and 10 digs.
-Bryn Pfeiffer finished with 17 digs in the loss.
-Four of Asheville's five losses this season have now come in three sets. The Bulldogs have only won three of 12 total third sets played to this point in the season.
-Asheville is now 0-2 all-time against North Florida.
