Women's Tennis Set to Host App State on Saturday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's tennis team returns to the courts on Saturday when the Bulldogs host Appalachian State at the Asheville Racquet Club starting at 1 p.m.

 

Asheville (6-1) suffered its first loss of the season last Saturday when the Bulldogs lost at home to Liberty, 7-0. ASU is 6-4 on the year after falling at Gardner-Webb earlier this week, 5-2.

 

The ASU match begins a busy week for the Blue & White. Asheville hosts North Carolina A&T on Monday and Longwood on Tuesday.

 

The Bulldogs are looking for their first win over the Lady Apps in four years. ASU slipped past Asheville in Boone in 2014, 4-3.
