Women's Tennis Honored by ITA

The UNC Asheville women's tennis team was honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association yesterday for their work in the classroom.
The Bulldogs were named as an ITA All-Academic team for the sixth consecutive year. The ITA All-Academic Team award goes to a women's tennis team that has a cumulative team grade point average of 3.20 or above for the academic year.
In addition, six members of the Asheville squad earned ITA Scholar-Athlete status. To be named as an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must maintain a GPA of 3.50 or above for the academic year.
The six Bulldogs to be named as ITA Scholar-Athletes are Zoe Hamel, Christine Boissevain, Gillian Lewis, Hunter Hall, Amryn Soldier and Caroline Sherrer.
