Women's Tennis Entertains Gardner-Webb on Thursday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville women's tennis team is back at home Thursday afternoon for a key Big South Conference battle with Gardner-Webb at the Asheville Racquet Club Downtown starting at 1 p.m.

 

The Bulldogs (6-3, 1-0 BSC) face a stern test on Thursday against a talented Gardner-Webb squad that is 7-3 on the year and 1-0 in league action.

 

Asheville is coming off a 6-0 loss to Central Florida on Tuesday. The Runnin' Bulldogs lost on Sunday to East Carolina, 4-3.

 

Junior Emily McNall is 7-1 on the season in singles action and is a perfect 5-0 in doubles action.

 

The Bulldogs are home again on Friday when they host King College at the ARC starting at 2 p.m.
